Since 1951 Morristown National Little League has been serving boys and girls from the Morristown & Morris Township area.  MNLL provides children a safe and fun environment to learn both baseball & softball, while also providing team play and competitive advancement.  Baseball is open to ages 6-12 & Softball is open to ages 7-15 MNLL Baseball is open to families that live West of Rt 202/Speedwell Ave MNLL Softball is open to ALL families living in Morristown & Morris Township

Morristown National Little League will be participating in the 2013 Morristown Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27th 2013 and then hosting a Picnic at Burnham Park.
 
The Parade

• Kicks off at 10:30AM at the Morris Township Municipal building on Woodland Ave and will proceed up South Street to the Morristown Green.
• Participation is greatly encouraged!  All teams should plan on meeting at the municipal building, in uniform, no later than 10:00 AM for a brief ceremony on the Town Hall front lawn.

The MNLL Picnic  12:00 – 3:30PM Burnham Park

• Following the parade at approximately 12:00PM, MNLL will host a free picnic at Burnham Park for all MNLL families.
• Hamburgers, Hotdogs and Drinks will be provided.  Please go to this link and RVSP.  We need to get an accurate head count in order to buy supplies. 
• Majors Baseball / Softball and Juniors Softball families please bring side dishes, salads or chips (small single packs as opposed to large bags)
• Minors and Instructional Level Baseball and Softball families please provide desserts

The day will proceed as follows:

• 12:00-12:30pm Minors A Baseball and Instructional Softball division players on Majors field
• 12:30-1:00pm Minors AA Baseball and Minors Softball players on the field
• 12:45pm Dunk Tank Opens – Majors Managers encouraged to sit and be dunked (Shane)
• 1:00pm Majors Baseball /Softball Managers Tug of War followed by Majors players Tug of War & Softball Majors Tug of War
• 1:20-2:00pm Softball game between Minors Baseball/Softball coaches and Majors Baseball/Softball Coaches
• 2:00-2:45pm Girls Softball pitches throw to Majors Boys Hitters. Good luck boys!!!
• 2:45-3:30pm Home Run Derby – Majors Baseball 12’s

Please come out and join your neighbors and friends and spend Memorial Day with the MNLL.

For the 2013 season we have chosen to run a fundraising campaign using the BaseballMania program.  Our goal is to raise $10,000 to be used for improvements to our fields, batting cages, snack stand building and new equipment and pitching machine.
 
Each ticket includes a “digital entertainment package” as well as a 10 week Professional Baseball sweepstakes (starting on July 22, 2013).  Each ticket costs $10.00, of which Morristown National will receive $6.50.  Each (Baseball) family will receive 10 tickets.  We kindly ask that you try to sell as many as possible.   You can also purchase tickets online at this link https://www.charitymania.com/give/J3013
 
Quick Facts:

• The summer edition of BaseballMania begins on July 22, 2013.
• Sold ticket stubs and payment must be returned by June 15th, 2013.
• Starting on 5/27, tickets can be returned to the Burnham snack stand during any scheduled majors game.  Additional collection times will be announced via email.  Please place ticket stubs, checks and/or cash in an envelope with your players name and team written on it.
• Prizes are awarded in each of the last 10 weeks of the Professional Major League Baseball season.   Winners will be notified via email or phone.
• Throughout the fundraiser ticket holders can check the CharityMania website www.charitymania.com to see if their ticket is a winner!
• Checks can be made out to:  “Morristown National Little League”

Sweepstakes prizes:
Game cards have 10 chances to win a prize... a new chance in each of the 10 weeks of the sweepstakes! Every week, the 10 highest scoring game cards, and the 4 lowest scoring cards, all win prizes. In addition, two grand prizes are awarded at the end of the season. There are 4,060 unique game cards, each of which has a minimum 1 in 29 chance to win a prize during the season.
 
Ticket Overview:
All sweepstakes game cards have an equal chance to win prize money based on the performance of the random baseball teams printed on the back. Game cards contain 3 random teams in each of the 10 weeks of the BaseballMania season (you get 3 new teams each week). To play, participants simply add up the runs scored by their 3 teams. Every week, the 10 highest scoring game cards, and the 4 lowest scoring game cards all win prizes
